Long before January 2018, owners Chris Smith and Mitch Foreman met while providing business tech support at a national service organization. They worked together to build a network operations center, implement systems that maintain cybersecurity, network maintenance and support and more. Working for Fortune 500 companies for a combined 50+ years, they’ve developed a strong understanding of technology in the workplace and how to make it work most efficiently.
While working together, they saw the need for organizations of all sizes to have access to top notch tech support. They also realized that this level of support was cost–prohibitive for most small and medium sized businesses.
After many adventures together and individually, Chris and Mitch joined forces to establish IT Enabled. Their mission was to offer reliable, cost effective managed IT services that allow business leaders to stay focused on their business and customers.
What started out as 2 IT professionals helping small and medium sized businesses in East Texas, quickly outgrew what 2 people could handle. Organizations across Texas and the Southern United States began reaching out for managed IT services. Requesting help with IT and help desk support, firewall, network and computer management and more, IT Enabled was up for the challenge. However, they knew they needed help.
Before long, Chris and Mitch began to build their team by hiring the best and brightest teammates. Each team member is exposed to a wealth of knowledge and training to continuously improve their skills. As a result, the techs are provided opportunities to use the knowledge in ways that benefit IT Enabled customers.
